Silfen Leadership Series Hosts CBS Board Member Xavier Rolet '84

Alumnus and CBS Board Member Xavier R. Rolet '84, former CEO of the London Stock Exchange, visited the Manhattanville campus on September 25 for a discussion with current students through the David and Lyn Silfen Leadership Series. 
 
With Silfen Board Member Annie Cui '25 as event moderator, Mr. Rolet shared professional advice, emphasizing the value of choosing a first job after CBS based on the quality, reach, and intellectual power of future colleagues. He further explained that he would not have reached the level of professional success he has attained without the help of others and discussed how developing early, lasting connections can make or break a career. Mr. Rolet also explored the importance of innovation in business, expressing his 30-year commitment to sustainability and how the landscape has changed today.
