Alumna and CBS Board Member Diana L. Taylor '80, Vice Chair of Solera Capital, recently visited the Manhattanville campus for "Leadership, Legacy, and the Arts: A Conversation with the Executive Director and Chair of the New York City Ballet," a special discussion with current students hosted through the School's David and Lyn Silfen Leadership Series. Ms. Taylor, who is Chair of the New York City Ballet's Board of Directors, was joined in conversation by Katherine Brown, the Ballet's Executive Director.

This special event, moderated by Silfen Board Member Alyson Williams '25, explored the unique career journeys of these remarkable women, from Ms. Taylor's trailblazing roles in finance and government to Ms. Brown's distinguished background in fundraising and music. Together, they shared their experiences navigating traditionally male-dominated industries, building strong professional networks, and leading one of the world’s most iconic ballet companies through times of artistic innovation and financial sustainability.
