CBS Vice Dean Visits Alumni in Chicago

Erin Dodd, CBS's Vice Dean for Development and Alumni Relations, visited Chicago on August 7 for a networking and social event with local alumni. Approximately one dozen alumni attended the evening event, organized by the Alumni Club of Chicago and held at Millenium Hall on the Windy City's Magnificent Mile. Dodd discussed the latest news from campus and Dean Costis Maglaras's vision for the future of CBS. “Engaging CBS graduates through local alumni clubs is an important priority for us,” Dodd said. “As we continue to strengthen our alumni networks in the Midwest region and globally, I look forward to more such opportunities with even greater numbers of CBS alumni.”

Zoran Lazarevic '00, head of Chicago's Alumni Club, and Christina Schuschel '02, who led the recent event, noted that having Dodd visit Chicago allowed older and younger alumni to stay even more connected to CBS. “Erin provided insights on recent developments at CBS and Columbia. Since several alumni graduated a few years ago, this insight keeps alumni in the loop on all the extensive work CBS colleagues are doing for the School, the University and the community," they jointly said.
