Reminder from the Financial Aid Office: Federal Student Loans Repayment

The Financial Aid Office wishes to inform alumni who have outstanding federal student loans that the U.S. Department of Education’s COVID-19 relief for student loans is ending. We are providing the below recommendations to ensure you are prepared to enter into repayment, as interest accrual on federal loans will resume on September 1, 2023 and your first payment will be due in October 2023.

  1. Know your current loan servicer and have an active account and login.
  2. Update your contact information with your loan servicer.
  3. Understand your loan repayment options.

As a reminder, your next step is to reach out to your loan servicer.  If you are having difficulty with this first step, or if you have any questions, you may reach out to the Financial Aid Office for guidance at [email protected].

The Alumni Club of Shanghai recently held multiple summer networking and social events for alumni in the region. On August 19, the Club held an evening pool party at the Hellas House in Shanghai with dinner and live jazz. On August 7, the Club hosted a dinner at Solo Garden in Shanghai with Alice Chen '05. Chen is the CEO of 99 Ranch, a leading Asian supermarket in the U.S., and was in Shanghai fo
