Alumna Discusses Artificial Intelligence with CBS

How generative AI is redefining human creativity was the focus of a recent event organized by CBS's Digital Future Initiative featuring alumna Golnar Khosrowshahi ’97, founder and CEO of Reservoir Media Management, Inc., the first female-founded and led, publicly traded independent music company in the U.S.

Khosrowshahi was joined by Olivier Toubia, the Glaubinger Professor of Business, and Stephan Meier, the James P. Gorman Professor of Business, in discussing what the advent of generative AI means for the future of the human creative process.

“We need to frame this narrative to not be ‘AI or,’ because that’s how we’re speaking about this all the time — AI or human,” said Khosrowshahi. “Human plus AI is a more powerful creative engine because of the efficiencies that can be enabled."
