Alumni Club of Toronto Holds Summer Social Event

As part of its ongoing outreach to local CBS alumni, the Alumni Club of Toronto held a networking and social event on June 1 at the CRAFT Beer Market in Toronto. Club co-leaders Enrique Cuyegkeng '84 and Andrea Robertson '80 noted that, as the Covid-19 pandemic recedes, the Club is working to regain the momentum it had pre-pandemic.

"While the CBS Alumni Club of Toronto was fairly busy and an engaged community through 2019, even achieving best participation during Columbia University's Annual Giving Day among international clubs, the pandemic did a number on us as it did with everyone," Cuyegkeng said. "Now that that's behind us, it's time to re-engage, rebuild the network, and support recent graduates and current EMBA/MBA candidates who make the Greater Toronto area their home. Aside from socials, we hope to host CBS alums and professors visiting 'The Six,' and assist the School's recruitment efforts as we've done in the past."
